Associate Professor

Prof. Salvatore Leonardi was born in Catania on 05.30.1970, he received a classical education.

In October 1994, he graduated with honours in Civil Engineering (Transportation address) at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Catania. He received the title of Ph.D. in “Maintenance and Reinforcement of road network” in March 2000.

In May 2001 he became Researcher at the university of Catania.

Since January 2011 he is Associate Professor in the scientific field ICAR04 (Roads, Railroads, Airports).

He is Deputy Editor-in-Chief of a Journal:

– Civil Engineering and Architecture (SCOPUS Ind.)

He is currently Member of the Editorial Board of three international journals:

– Global Journal of Engineering Sciences (GJES)

– Safety (SCOPUS Ind.)

– The Baltic Journal of Road and Bridge Engineering (SCOPUS Ind.)

He is also Reviewer for some international journals.

Researcher

Prof. Natalia Distefano was born in Catania on 10.21.1974.

In April 2001, she graduated in Civil Engineering (Transportation address) at the Faculty of Engineering of the Catania University.

In 2006, she received the title of Ph.D. in “Engineering of the Road infrastructures”.

Since February 2008 she is Research assistant in “Safety of road, rail, airport, port and intermodal infrastructures” at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the University of Catania.

Since January 2022 he is Researcher in the scientific field ICAR04 (Roads, Railroads, Airports).

She is currently Member of the Editorial Board of two international journal:

– Current Trends in Civil & Structural Engineering (CTCSE)

-Civil Engineering and Architecture (SCOPUS Ind.)

She is also Reviewer for some international journals.
